Metaverses are gaining prominence as large technology businesses spend heavily on them. Following the announcement of a $50 million fund earlier this year, Facebook renamed its holding company “Meta” to symbolise its intention to build a new virtual world.
Furthermore, Microsoft has recognised its desire to create a metaverse. Additionally, millennial investors in 2021 showed a significant increase in interest in digital assets. The demand for NFTs in the form of art, music, and in-game assets like metaverse land has skyrocketed. Young investors are giving NFTs and other digital assets for the event.
Novatar: The world’s first ageing NFTs
The Novatar, a recently released NFT avatar project with a possible future in the metaverse and digital world, offers an intriguing premise. The day has arrived when users will be able to change into anybody they admire. The Novatar, the first-ever ageing NFT, is ready to let you explore a new world. It all starts with simulating how we came into being as newborns in the current world. Novatar’s technology enables the natural metamorphosis of humans on the blockchain.
Graphically, each of the 25K Novatars is one-of-a-kind and AI-generated, with distinct facial expressions, race, skin hues, and so on. The fundamental 9 genes in each NFT newborn comprise a variety of characteristics. After minting, the user has complete control over whether it matures as an adult or remains a baby. In the virtual world, the avatar may age into an adult in seconds with a single click.
A one-of-a-kind virtual identity
In the digital age, the user is required to have an identity, a face that reflects their unique personality. On social networks, the world will identify the user’s virtual existence by their profile picture. Novatars have a diverse set of genes, which allows for their rarity. A newborn Novatar has 9 required genes out of a total of 14, whereas adults have 10 mandatory genes out of a total of 14.
Because of the optional nature of these genes, the Novatar that inherits part of them will grow rarer, making the whole NFTs system unique. Novatars, like people in real life, can be gay or heterosexual. They may express the same emotions that a genuine human being does: sadness, happiness, anger, anxiety, fear, and so forth.
They are nearly identical to human beings. Novatars stores these photos in IPFS and the user is granted full commercial rights to NFTs.
